This the story of a confused Swedish boy. His carefree childhood is abruptly interrupted by a tragic event. He moves to Belgium and is torn between frail memories of rural Sweden and the hard reality of his new life in the city of Antwerp.
He wages war against the world and himself. Fortunately, his brother Rasmus is there to help him during difficult moments - or does that brother make things even worse?
Since there are clear links with Sweden, the story was translated into Swedish and published as a whole under the name Dood in de Doos - Livlös i Lådan (*). Dutch- as well as Swedish-speakers will recognize their respective habitat.
(*) The title can be translated as Death in the Box or Dead in the Box.
With lots of thanks to Kevin, Johanneke, Georges, Bram, Erika.

A sequel is in the pipeline.
That story (working title: Bitten) will describe the life and struggle of Nittiotre, a character from Dood in de Doos. Both stories complement each other, but can be read separately.
